The coronavirus positivity rate statewide climbed over a quarter-point, from 9.25 percent last week to 10.64 percent reported Thursday. (Shutterstock)DANBURY, CT — The number of COVID-19 cases in the state continue to trend downward, three weeks after the state hit the grim milestone of 11,000 coronavirus-associated deaths. In Danbury and much of southwestern Connecticut, however, the case rate remains stubborn. Statewide, there were still 3,407 coronavirus cases reported in the past week, according to the Department of Public Health.
